Kollicoat® IR is a white to faintly yellow free-flowing powder. The polymer consists of 75% polyvinyl alcohol units and 25% polyethylene glycol units. As a result of its structure, the polymer dissolves very readily in acidic, neutral and alkaline aqueous media.
