Kollicoat® IR is a white to faintly yellow free-flowing powder. The polymer consists of 75% polyvinyl alcohol units and 25% polyethylene glycol units. The product also contains approx. 0.3% colloidal anhydrous silica to improve its flow properties. As a result of its structure, the polymer dissolves very readily in acidic, neutral and alkaline aqueous media.

Kollicoat® MAE 100-55 is a white redispersible powder with a faint characteristic odor. The product contains 0.7% sodium lauryl sulfate (USP) and 2.3% Polysorbate 80 (Ph. Eur.) as emulsifying agents. The fatty acids used in the manufacture of Polysorbate 80 are of vegetable origin. Kollicoat® MAE 100-55 is a weakly acidic copolymer that dissolves at a pH above 5.5. Kollicoat® MAE 100-55 dissolves in methanol and ethanol to yield clear to slightly cloudy solutions. It is also soluble in dilute alkaline solutions.

Dehyton® PK 45 is an amphoteric surfactant that is suitable for universal application in cosmetic and pharmaceutical surfactant preparations. When combined with anionic surfactants, synergistic effects are achieved, resulting in a dermatological improvement of the consumer product. Its application properties are comparable to those of conventional cocamidopropyl betaine types.

Kolliphor® SLS Fine is a white to off-white powder with faint characteristic odor. The product tends to agglomerate. The agglomerates exhibit a yellowish to brownish color and are completely soluble by heating and stirring. Solubilizing, the agglomerates does not influence the product quality. The product is characterized by a very high active substance matter and a very low content of inorganic salts and unsulfated fatty alcohol. Preferred areas of application are pharmaceutical emulsion, tablets and cream shampoos.

Kolliphor® PS 80 is an amber liquid with a faint characteristic odor. Kolliphor® PS 80 is used as a non-ionic surfactant and oil-in-water emulsifier, as plasticizer in a range of solid dispersions and oral dosage forms. It is a non-ionic, hydrophilic emulsifier with broad pH range applicability and good skin tolerance in topical formulations.

Kollidon® CL Crosslinked Polymer is supplied as fine white or almost white powder. It has a slight characteristic odor and is practically tasteless. It is insoluble in all of the usual solvents.

Lanette® 16 is a consistency-giving factor that regulates viscosity in O/W emulsions. It appears as a white to light yellowish hydrophilic wax that is supplied in pellets or flakes. Due to its consistency-giving properties, it is mainly used for viscosity regulation in cosmetic O/W emulsions.

Kolliwax® S Fine is a vegetable based Stearic/Palmitic Acid and is a fine white powder with a typical odor. On account of its consistency giving characteristics the product is mainly used for viscosity regulation in pharmaceutical O/W-emulsions.

LANETTE® D is a consistency factor suitable for all kinds of oil-in-water emulsions, composed of cetyl stearyl alcohol. Applications include after-sun care, antiperspirants and deodorants, baby care and cleansing, body care, color care, conditioning, face care, face cleansing, hair coloring, self-tanning, and sun protection.

Lanette® O is a cetyl stearyl alcohol that is used for viscosity regulation in cosmetic oil-in-water emulsions. It is a white to light yellow hydrophilic wax that is supplied in pellets. The benefits of the product include skin care and hair and scalp care.

Lanette® 18 is a hydrophilic waxy substance that is derived from stearyl alcohol and is used to regulate the viscosity in oil-in-water emulsions. It comes in the form of white to light yellowish pellets or flakes, and is beneficial for both skin care and hair and scalp care products.

Kollisolv® PEG 1000 is a white to almost white solid with a waxy or paraffin-like appearance. It is very soluble in water, freely soluble in alcohol, practically insoluble in fatty oils and in mineral oils.

Kolliphor® P 188 Micro Geismar is supplied as white to slightly yellowish microbeads. It is readily soluble in water and ethanol and other mainly polar solvents. It is insoluble in ether, paraffin and fatty oils.

Kolliphor® ELP is a white to yellowish paste or cloudy liquid. It is a non-ionic solubilizer made by reacting castor oil with ethylene oxide in a molar ratio of 1:35. This is followed by a purification process. Kolliphor® ELP forms clear solutions in water and also dissolves in a wide range of organic solvents, such as ethanol, n-propanol, isopropanol, ethyl acetate, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, trichloroethylene, toluene and xylene.
