It improves the body of skincare formulations, leaving a silky, non-lubricating velvety feeling on skin, and improves wet and dry combability of hair when used in shampoos. It is a waxy solid with a bland odor.

HD-Eutanol V is a medium-spreading emollient suitable for all cosmetic applications. It is supplied as a clear, slightly yellowish, almost odorless weak oil. Its applications include skin care, cleanser, sun care, mother and baby products, hair care, shampoo and conditioner, hair color, bath and body products, men's skin care, antiperspirants and deodorants, face care, and self-tanning.
